This Subscription Agreement ("Agreement") is between Pizza Phone AI Inc., operating as PizzaPhone.ai ("PizzaPhone," "Company," "we," "us"), and the business that signs up for our services ("Client," "you"). By checking the agreement box at sign-up, starting a free trial, paying for, or using the services, you agree to this Agreement.
You confirm that you are signing up on behalf of a business, not as an individual consumer, and that you have authority to bind that business. Our Terms of Service (which include our SMS messaging terms) and our Privacy Policy also apply. If they conflict with this Agreement on billing, plans, or website services, this Agreement controls.
The short version
- 14-day free trial. A card is required. You won’t be charged until day 15, and you can cancel before then at no cost.
- Monthly: $179 every 30 days, no contract, cancel anytime before your next renewal.
- Yearly: $1,164 per year ($97/month), includes a custom website and managed hosting, renews yearly, non-refundable once charged.
- Your number: we give you a new PizzaPhone number. Keeping only your old number requires call forwarding and a second line for transfers.
- No 911. Keep a regular phone line at your store for emergencies.
1. The service
- AI voice receptionist. PizzaPhone provides an AI voice receptionist that answers inbound restaurant calls, handles common questions (such as hours, location and menu items), and sends transactional text messages with the restaurant’s online ordering and reservation links when a caller asks for them.
- Dedicated PizzaPhone number. When your account is activated, we assign a dedicated local phone number to your account. This number powers your AI receptionist and is the main line for automated call handling.
- Unlimited inbound calls. Subscriptions include unlimited inbound calls and talk time for normal restaurant phone use, with no hourly caps and no per-minute overage charges. We may contact you about usage that is clearly outside normal restaurant use, such as automated or abusive call traffic.
- No emergency services. PizzaPhone numbers are software-routed and do not support 911, E911 or any emergency calling. You agree to keep a separate phone line at your business location for emergencies.
- AI limitations. AI responses can occasionally be incomplete or misunderstood. PizzaPhone is a communication tool; it does not guarantee that every call, message or transfer will be completed.
2. Free trial
- New clients get a 14-day free trial on either plan. A valid credit or debit card is required to start the trial, and we may run a $0 or small temporary authorization to verify it.
- You will not be charged during the trial. We will email you a reminder before the trial ends.
- Unless you cancel before the trial ends, your card is automatically charged on day 15 for the plan you selected: $179 for the monthly plan, or $1,164 for the yearly plan. Billing continues automatically as described in section 3.
- To cancel during the trial, email [email protected] or call +1 888-509-8614 before the trial ends. We will confirm your cancellation in writing.
- The free trial is available once per business.
3. Plans and billing
Monthly plan (no contract)
- Price: $179 per month, billed automatically every 30 days, starting when the free trial ends, until you cancel.
- Cancel anytime: there is no long-term contract. Send written notice to [email protected] before your next renewal date and you will not be charged again. Service continues until the end of the period you already paid for. Monthly payments are not refunded for partial periods.
- No website included: the monthly plan does not include a custom website, web development or managed hosting. PizzaPhone connects to your existing phone system and web presence.
Yearly plan (discounted, website included)
- Price: $1,164 billed once per year, starting when the free trial ends. That works out to $97 per month, about 45% less than the monthly plan.
- Automatic renewal: the yearly plan renews automatically for another 12 months at the then-current yearly price unless you cancel before the renewal date. We will email you a reminder at least 30 days before each renewal.
- Non-refundable: once a yearly payment is charged, it is fully earned and non-refundable, because it covers setup, voice configuration, onboarding work and your website build. You can cancel during the free trial to avoid any charge.
Price changes and taxes
- We may change our prices by giving you at least 30 days’ notice by email. The new price applies from your next renewal.
- Prices do not include applicable sales taxes (such as GST/HST), which will be added where required.
4. Custom website and managed hosting (yearly plan only)
- Website build and hosting: yearly clients receive a custom, mobile-optimized direct-ordering website and fully managed hosting for each prepaid year at no additional charge. The website build begins after your first yearly payment is processed.
- Your domain: you are responsible for buying, registering and renewing your own domain name with a registrar of your choice. PizzaPhone does not buy or renew domains for clients. You give us DNS access only for connecting and hosting your website.
- One free update per month: managed hosting includes one minor content update per calendar month, such as a price change, new store hours or a banner swap, that takes under 15 minutes. Unused updates do not roll over.
- Additional changes: other changes, redesigns or extra updates in the same month are $35 per request, charged to your card on file. We will confirm before doing billable work.
- If you don’t renew: if you cancel your yearly plan, you can choose one of these options at the end of your term:
- Standalone hosting: keep your website online with PizzaPhone Managed Website Hosting at $49 per month, cancel anytime. This covers hosting, SSL certificates, domain connection and routine maintenance.
- Website buyout: pay a one-time $500 release fee to receive the complete website files and design assets to host yourself.
5. Phone numbers, call routing and transfers
Standard setup (recommended)
- Customers call your PizzaPhone number, which you publish on your website, Google listing, online menus and marketing.
- The AI receptionist answers, handles routine questions, and texts ordering or reservation links when callers ask.
- When a caller needs a person, the call is transferred to your existing store phone or front-counter line.
- Your existing number keeps working as usual, so customers who have it saved still reach your staff.
Keeping only your existing number
- If you want your existing public number answered by the AI instead, you are responsible for setting up call forwarding with your phone carrier to your PizzaPhone number.
- Second line required for transfers: a single phone line can’t forward calls and receive transfers at the same time. You must keep a second, unforwarded line (or a multi-line hunt group) at your store for transfers. Without one, transferred calls may get a busy signal or drop. PizzaPhone is not responsible for transfer failures caused by single-line forwarding setups.
Text messages
- You authorize PizzaPhone to send transactional text messages on your behalf, such as online ordering links, delivery links and reservation links, only when a caller requests them and consents. Messaging follows the SMS terms in our Terms of Service.
6. Your responsibilities
- Accurate information: you are responsible for making sure the hours, prices, menu items, descriptions and allergen information you give us are accurate and up to date, and for telling us promptly when they change.
- Food, orders and allergens: PizzaPhone is a communication tool only. You remain solely responsible for food preparation, order fulfillment, pricing and allergen disclosures. You agree to indemnify PizzaPhone against third-party claims arising from those matters.
- Lawful use: you agree to use PizzaPhone only for lawful restaurant communications and not to send marketing messages through the transactional messaging program.
7. Third-party services and outages
PizzaPhone relies on third-party telecommunications, AI, messaging and cloud service providers, as well as mobile carriers, to deliver the services. We choose these providers and may change them at any time without notice. We are not liable for interruptions outside our reasonable control, including carrier outages, network congestion, carrier SMS filtering, dropped calls caused by network latency, or internet outages at your business.
8. Payments, failed payments and disputes
- Card on file: you authorize PizzaPhone and its payment processor to store your payment method and automatically charge it for subscription fees, approved website changes, standalone hosting and buyout fees under this Agreement.
- Failed payments: if a payment fails, you have a 7-day grace period to update your payment details. If payment isn’t resolved within 7 days, we may suspend call handling and take any hosted website offline until the account is brought current.
- Billing questions: if you believe a charge is wrong, contact us first at [email protected] and give us 10 business days to resolve it. If you file a chargeback on a charge that was properly authorized under this Agreement, we may immediately suspend all services, and any website buyout or file release rights are forfeited.
9. Cancellation and termination
- You can cancel by emailing [email protected]. Cancellation stops future renewals; service continues until the end of the current paid period.
- We may suspend or end services if you breach this Agreement, fail to pay, or use the service unlawfully or abusively.
- When service ends, your PizzaPhone number may be released and call routing will stop, so update any listings that show it.
10. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, PizzaPhone is not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for lost revenue, profits, orders or data, arising from the services. Our total liability for any claim relating to the services will not exceed the fees you paid us in the three months before the event giving rise to the claim.
11. Changes to this Agreement
We may update this Agreement from time to time. We will post the updated version on this page with a new “Last updated” date and email you about material changes at least 30 days before they apply to you. Continuing to use the services after that date means you accept the updated Agreement.
12. Governing law
This Agreement is governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the applicable laws of Canada, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
